Evening Waltz, the artwork, invites you to step into this magical place of fantasy and join in a dance of joy and happiness. Set on the beach of the Oregon Coast, with its dramatic beaches and colorful sunset, Evening Waltz finds us in the twilight, with the sun’s rays reflecting upon the sand.
It is a place and time of innocence, the man and woman sprites who appear from nowhere and dance to music that streams through the air, gently harmonizing with the sound of the surf. The mood is that of simple joy, one in which there are no expectations, no games, no guessing. There is only the dance – the intricate movements of feet in the sand, the waving of the fabric in the breeze, the whisper of the surf dancing in and out of the water.
