Very nice light on this painting
Thank you, Valerie -- it is a small painting -- 10 x 5 on panel, and I knew I wanted to keep the brushwork loose and large, so the detail would come in the light. On a spring morning, as a small stream winds its way through banks of rich green banks, the light casts gold into the green, as well as reflects upon the water.
