It was one of those days, one of those places they used to call fey.
Surreal, other worldly, the landscape of trees and grass possessed a depth beyond what we see on its surface. Perhaps it is the wind, whipping through the branches and making them dance, gliding through the grass and inspiring its fronds to sway back and forth, as if gesturing.
One gets the sense that on another level, a different dimension, the trees and grass could speak to one another, and maybe to us. So it is in a fairy tale world, a world not limited to the walls of rationality that modern society builds around itself.
Have you ever been in such a place, on such a day? Have you ever heard the wind moaning and felt that it were speaking, inviting you to stop, turn around, walk forward, and discover?
It is a metaphysical moment, one that inspires you to believe beyond what Science, the god of modern man, says we can expect.

I am a fine art painter who creates representational images celebrating light, life, and color.
