It is a moment of grace and beauty, a pause in a dance through the rooms of a Victorian boudoir.

The very sedateness of pace is one that reminds us to slow down ourselves, to stop what we’re doing right now (which is probably texting on the phone, checking the email, or worrying about one of the many matters that assault us through the day) and join the dancer in her tranquility and peace.
It is said that life is a dance, and for those of us who know that we are not dancers, this can seem daunting – how will we stumble and fumble our way through each day when we cannot keep our feet in control on the dance floor?

I am a fine art painter who creates representational images celebrating light, life, and color. A commercial illustrator for more than 20 years, I have been painting for most of my life, and in the last 13 years have focused exclusively on fine art. I celebrate images that invite the viewer to step into the artwork and experience a sense of joy, peace, freedom, encouragement, meditation, and thought. There's a lot of angry art out there, as well as a lot of shallow pop. I choose to use the abilities and experience I have to promote beauty and goodness.
